We have been so busy that I have forgotten to blog. So here is a little recap on what has gone on for the past almost 2 months. We had family come visit after Ryan was born and a little before :) Grandma Marsha came before and we took her to the Temple so see all of the pretty Christmas lights she stayed until after Christmas, and it was so much fun and she was so helpful.(we miss having snacks and goodies around). By-the-way, the Mesa temple lights are my FAVORITE so far. We had such a good time. Them after Ryan was born, Grandpa Paul and Grandma Carol came to visit and that was really fun as well. After New Years Grandma Patt came to visit and she was very helpful and lots of fun. We loved every minute of having family, especially the girls. Once the company left Jamie and her girls came to visit and were so happy to have them.... even though it took them 10 HOURS to get here ;)(they got lost because of bad directions). Needless to say we have had LOTS of FUN and LOTS of FAMILY. It has been hard not having everyone around..... so when your ready we are ready for more company :) Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to. Love you all..... Katie
We are so happy to announce the arrival of Ryan Scott to our family. He is so yummy and we love to kiss and love him. Just think of how spoiled he is with three ladies in the house that love this baby boy. Thank goodness he has dad to rescue him from all the ladies :) He was born 12/20/2009, weighed 8 lbs, 11 oz and was 21 inches long. He has good coloring and is very healthy. Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy and there will be more to come :) Love Katie
About a month or two ago Scott's cousin Amy invited me to make a dress for Emma out of a pillow case. I thought, oh this should be good, since I have NEVER done any sewing before. Well we didn't end up using a pillow case because we found some cute fabric and surprisingly it was a blast. Now that I have tasted the fun, I now need a sewing machine :)
We had a blast on Halloween and the girls looked so darn cute. Taylor was Pippi Longstocking and Emma was a Ladybug. They got loads and loads of candy so they were very happy. I hope everyone else enjoyed Halloween like we did :)
Welcome to Emma's Beauty Salon. She does make up and hair. Coming soon.... nails ;) Today she asked me if she could do my hair. I said sure and then it turned into make up and hair. After that we have a selection of bows and head bands. So she wanted to see if all her bows fit in my hair. Then if that wasn't enough she wanted me to fit all of her head bands in her hair. If you would like an appointment, her books are filling up, so act fast :) Enjoy!!!!! We had lots of fun and now it's time for clean up.
A few things have happened since my last post...... First, Emma started preschool and LOVES it so much. She loves her teacher and all of her friends that are in her class. It is so fun to see how excited she is when she brings home her class work to show us what she did that day.
Second, she had her 4th birthday. She wanted a pool party so we invited her friends, it was really fun. They had pizza, cupcakes and swimming. However after the party she lost her balloon and was crying so hard about her special balloon that we went and bought her a new one. Because you can't have tears on your birthday :) Later on that day we asked her where she wanted to go for dinner and she picked IHOP. YUMMY!!! She got a free sunday! Also a really nice grandpa and grandma saw that it was her special day so they gave her 5 dollars. She was soooooo excited. It was a really nice thing from that man and his wife and it made her day that more special. We love her so much and hope her day was special one. HAPPY BIRHTDAY EMMA!!!!!
We have been having so much fun we have forgotten to blog it. Grandpa Long came to visit and the girls had so much fun with him. He didn't get to rest for one tiny second. Taylor taught him some dance moves and Emma made sure he feed and took care of her babies. We also had him test his taste buds with Thai food. He decided that Pad Thai was really good and that the peanut sauce was even better mixed in the noodles :) We loved having him visit and we can't wait until he comes back.
