HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Well this was a fun Holiday and Ryan's first Halloween. We had our Trunk or Treat with our church and some of the cars were pretty scary. I thought for sure Ryan would be scared and not walk up to the cars but he laughed and made a growling noise when I would say SCARY!!! It was cracking me up. Emma was Cinderella and she looked so pretty. Ryan was a Spider and looked so cute, and Taylor was Kesha and she looked cute with all her makeup on :) Good thing makeup is only for Halloween and not for everyday wear. They had so much fun and got plenty of candy. Last night Scott and I dressed up as Frankenstein & his Bride we had so much fun at our friends house. This was by far a GREAT Halloween.

Catching up!

Well it has been a while since I blogged last and there has been a few things that I missed blogging about. So buckle up here goes :)

In August Taylor started school at a new school and LOVES it there. She has great friends and the school is amazing.

In September I started to teach preschool and Emma had a birthday party to celebrate her 5th birthday. It was a princess party and it was so fun and so cute :)They played games like pass the poison apple and had a scavenger hunt. After that they decorated princess flower cupcakes. They loved it and Emma had so much fun.

Ryan is Ryan.... he has been crawling since 6 months and now is walking at 9 months. We don't let him walk to much cause I think he needs to stay little. However he is strong willed like his dad and keeps pushing for it. He cracks us up day in and day out. On Friday he got tubes put in his ears and so far things are better.

6th Grade!!!!

Look out 6th Grade Taylor is back in town :) I can not believe how dang old she is getting. We love her so much and can't wait for her to have an awesome year this year. She has started in a new school with new friends and a great teacher. So far things are going great! Good Luck Tay we love you!!!!

SCHOOL IS IN!!!!!!!!!

Well the happy words are flowing out of my mouth..... School is now in session!!!! I love the sound of that. Now the fights between siblings aren't all day and I don't have to hear I'm board one more time. Thanks goodness :) I love the help but I don't love the mess that comes with summer break. We had a wonderful summer this year. We did some swimming and played with friends, cousins came to visit and we went on a vacation to Las Vegas and Utah to visit family. Our trip started in Vegas and we had a blast. We did more swimming, went shopping, had a BBQ and ate the yummiest Banana Cream Pie from Joe's Stone Crab at the Cesar's Palace. When that fun time had to end we left and went to Utah. We rode horses, had a BBQ, roasted marshmallows, hung out with family and went to Seven Peaks Water Park. It was a blast..... however we all got sick with ear infections, sinus infections and eye infections. That was the only bummer, we had to cut the trip short when that all hit the fan. From Mom to baby we were sick. In Utah there was a flu bug going around and most of the family got that. We dodged that bullet thank goodness. Sorry family!!!! All-in-all we had a really good time and we were out of the hot summer Arizona heat.

Happy July!!!

Well even though the 4th is over I still feel like July is patriotic the entire month :) With summer, BBQ's, and much much more it just screams red, white and blue to me. So I just wanted to let you all know that on July 7th, 2010 our little 6 month old baby has decided to crawl. Let me mind you this is no army crawl or a worm crawl oh no, he has no time for that stuff, he is all business. I think he wants to get up and run around with his older sisters so he is going to figure out how to do it :) I LOVE watching all the milestones that he has gone through and it is amazing how fast it goes.

On another note Taylor had preliminaries and missed the championships by 5 seconds. We are so proud of her for getting this far for her first year of swim team. She tolds us she wants to do it again next year. You never know, we might have a Phelps on our hands :)

So Taylor decided that she wanted to try swim team this year. She LOVES to swim but has had no professional swim lessons. Let me also tell you that practice is at 6:00 A.M. Mon-Thurs and then the meets are Thursday night at 7:00 P.M. This is our first time with this sport so we are learning the do's and don'ts about it. So now the good news...... last week June 5th was her first meet and she took 8th place out of 8 on the freestyle race. Tonight June 10th was her second meet and she took 6th out of 8 in freestyle and 5th out of 8 in the backstroke. She said that the backstroke is her favorite. She is so amazing and she is doing so well for not having any practice before this. I know she will just get better and better each time. We are so proud of her and wanted to spread the word!!!!! OK so a lot has happened since Easter. I am not going to write much but I will have a lot of pictures for you to see. I was released as the 1st counsler in the Primary and the kids made us the cutest cards. I loved being in there with the kids and now I am excited for my next adventure. Emma's friend Kenedi moved and we miss her so much. Also our friends the Barney's let the girls ride horses, Emma and Savannah are such good friends and they had a fun time seeing the pigs and the horses. We also took Taylor's friend Hannah with us and she was so brave to get on the horse and ride. Her and Taylor had the horses trotting and they were so proud of themselves. The girls had a dance class that they were in and they did a wonderful job. They also had really cute costumes that they picked out.Then we went up to Utah for Scott's grandpa's funeral and we stayed at a hotel where we went swimming...Ryan did NOT like it at all but he LOVES the bath.

HOPPY EASTER!!!!

We had such a good Easter this weekend that I thought I would share it with you. First on Friday we had our ward Easter egg hunt and that was really fun. A lot of socializing, ice cream eating and candy eating fun :)On Saturday we went to the drive in movies with our friends the Resch family and saw "How to Train Your Dragon". That was a great movie and the drive in was a blast. Thanks Resch's, we will do that again for sure. Then the big day..... Sunday we were visited by the Easter Bunny :) He hid the eggs and the baskets. The kids had so much fun. Oh and yes the Easter Bunny followed through for me too :) I got my Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs. After that we went to our Aunt Yvonne's house for dinner, games and more Easter Egg hunting. It was a blast!! Well enjoy the pictures and I hope you all had a great Easter like we did.
